How to Prepare for Your In Studio Newborn Session

Getting ready for a newborn session in the studio doesn’t have to be stressful. Here’s a simple guide to help you prepare and make the most of our time together.

1. Arrive on Time

Make sure to arrive on time. Our session will last around 1 to 1.5 hours, giving us plenty of time to get everything set up and capture those precious moments. Don’t worry about running out of time—we’ve got it all planned out.

2. Dress Baby in a White Onesie

It’s a good idea to dress your baby in a simple white onesie as a base layer. We’ll start with some classic shots in the onesie and then we can wrap your baby in a cozy blanket or change into another outfit. Feel free to bring a few of your favorite outfits, but I’ll also have some cute options on hand.

3. Bring the Essentials

Make sure to bring along the essentials for your baby—things like milk, diapers, and a pacifier. We’ll go with the flow based on your baby’s needs, so having these items handy will help keep things running smoothly.

4. Share Your Special Requests

I’ll come with a plan for the shoot, but if you have any specific shots or ideas in mind, please let me know. Whether it’s a special pose, a family photo, or a particular prop you want to include, I’m here to make your vision come to life.

With these simple tips, we’ll be all set for a fantastic newborn session in the studio. If you have any questions or additional requests, feel free to reach out. I’m looking forward to capturing these special moments with you and your little one!
